Sun, Expensive Beer, and Bites

Finally left Hong Kong and metthe best system ever where you can check in your luggage in the train station and then not have to worry about it. Fantasttic with 2 big backpacks.

Then off to Singapore and its sunniness. Met a fantastic couple on the first night, Ben and Carley from UK, we had a few good nights with them including and interesting paddy's day. Which started with Ben being asked to do some modelling for an "In Flight magazine". Then we headed to the nearest Irish bar and ordered 4 drinks which cost us S$50 which is Eur 6.25 a pint. Dam extorsion if you ask me. Apart from that we visited the amazing Sentosa island, where the pix below are taken from, that was a great yet expensive experience.
Also we went to the famous Raffles which was also very dear beer @ S28 for 2 glasses of beer.
In singapore we also saw the Zoo, so we got all the major tourist attractions in. If you are ever heading through SE Asia to go to Oz or something always choose Singapore as your fly through option, Changi airport is the v\best airport in the world, free cinemas, free internet, free 2 hour singapore tour, a Swimming pool fopr stopover passengers. Its as if they actually want you there, Dublin Airport Authority listen up.
